Maybe try accessing it via Safe Mode Press the F8 key immediately after the computer's logo shows while booting. Depending on which Windows version you are currently running on the unit, there may also be recovery options available. As far I know, you can also make a recovery DVD or bootable USB by using software downloaded from MicroSoft's support site. Someone please correct me if this is no longer an option.
