Powered on for 2 seconds, then shutdown permanently.

Hello, dismantled the machine and removed the internal power supply. I then disassembled it and blew it out with compressed air. I then bench tested it and was getting 12VDC out of the test probes on the power supply board. I then put everything back together and the machine still would not power on. Any suggestions?
