My 2002 Honda has a good battery but for some reason, when the car is off or on standby it dies super quick so I have to unplug the battery every time I move it at all

Hi,
Check the voltage across the battery terminals when the engine is running.
You should read in the range 13.8VDC -14.5VDC.
If less than 13.8VDC you alternator is not charging the battery and it will be slowly discharging instead of charging while your driving.
BE SAFETY AWARE when you test the battery voltage as the engine is runnning

check for possible shorts ..... it can drain off your battery.
