Screen still off after power source replacement

I have a RCA LED32BO3RQ flat screen tv and i just recently replaced the power supply because the screen would stay blank after pressing the power the power button. But even now with the new power suplly board in place the screen still doesnt turn on but the red light still displays when its off. What do i do now, id hate to think i bought a whole new board for nothing.
