Screen 'moisture cloud' apparent.

My thunderbolt display screen just developed what appears to be a moisture cloud covering about 80% of the total screen. It causes a hazy effect when the screen is on and is apparent as a broad cloud when the screen os turned off and disconnected. Could this be caused by condensation?

Update (06/23/2019)

@danj Hello Dan - Thank you for your email - most appreciated. I disconnected my monitor yesterday and placed it in a warming cupboard for 24 hours. I restarted it today and I have been working on with for over two hours. The apparent fault yesterday has not presented. Yesterday, it appeared to be a light 'moisture cloud' behind the glass screen. I'm hoping that the drying out has alleviated the problem If it presents again, I will photograph as suggested and contact you accordingly. Best - Grant

Can you post a few pics. Have one with the display is off and lit from either window or light from the front at an angle so you don't see the glare or the window or bulb but get the light bouncing off the cover glass and the LCD under it. It should be an even very dark grey.

Then with the system on with a full white background and a second of your image which shows the effect you are seeing.

Post all three images here so we can see iFixitでの質問に画像を追加する方法 The higher the quality the better!

Sounds like you are in a very humid place! I do recommend you get a dehumidifier or air conditioner to help keep the air dryer
