I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 that recently soft bricked. It will start to turn on but can’t make it to the passcode screen. The repair place tried to flash it to no luck and said its likely a motherboard issue.
Is it possible to replace the logic board but transfer the internal memory chip to the new board so I can save the data?

@damascus21 should be possible for as long as you have some experienced professional do the exchange. Not something for the regular DIY’er
