Fire Stick Not Connecting to WiFi

My Amazon fire stick is connected to my old Wi-Fi and that Wi-Fi is off now but I'm trying to connect to my new Wi-Fi and it's not allowing me because it's telling me that it's firestick not connected to my home My remote network will not allow me to get into my settings to change the Wi-Fi. If I have someone the best solution or suggestion please help me? Also the charger that came with the firestick is gone so I am using my phone charger. Is that a problem? Help me please someone!
