Why won’t my Fujifilm instax mini 70 work?!

I got my instax mini 70 for Christmas a few year ago and for a few months it was working fine. Then, and e started flashing up on the display every time I tried to turn it on. I looked on YouTube and I realised my film canister was jammed. I then got it out without damaging anything and replaced the batteries and the film but now it won’t even turn on! What is wrong with my camera? Please help!
