Will this ssd work in PS4 cuh-1116b?
My husband has some crazy server ssd lying around and wants to know if it will work in the PS4? Does anybody know?

The only restriction I see on the PS4 HDD is that it is 2.5” SATA and cannot be over 9.5mm thick.

As @joshsebert7 mentioned, there will be size constraints for what will fit inside the device. Another concern would be the connection speed. As the PS4 uses SATA2 connections, your SSD will be limited to data transfer speeds of 3 Gb/s.
