Our group has created a repair guide for the Canon SX40HS digital camera for use by people wanting to dissasemble and or repair their own camera. The guide will contain a troubleshooting page, pictures, and 3 repair guides for common issues with this particular model.

My camera mainboad is damaged. Where can I get it?

I have canon powershot sx40hs, one day suddenly it stopped working. When I sent it for repair, person told me Its mainboard is damaged.

Where can I get its Mainboard.

If you haven’t already, check with the manufacturer. If that is unsuccessful then ebay is always full of electronics for parts.

Edit: I just checked ebay and found one immediately. They are also available from Ali Express. Prices are around $130.00.
