No sound on TV everything else works best

What is the model number of the TV if it is not a Toshiba LED TV 40PB200?
Has the sound worked OK before?
What is the signal source connected to on the TV, coax input, HDMI input, component video input?
If the signal source is from a "box" can you try a different connection type to check if audio is present, e.g. if HDMI now change to component video?
If the signal source is from a "box" can you try connecting it to another TV to prove that it is OK?
Have you checked the sound settings in the menu area?
