Whirlpool /Maytag washer model MTW5840TW0 works great, except on the drain and spin cycle. The drum starts to spin and the water drains. Once all the water has drained the drum goes out of balance and hits the cabinet. What could be the problem? I’m thinking its the suspension springs, but just by visual inspection they are not broken or rusty.

There about 12 causes for this but it is usually a bearing. Here’s the list along with replacement parts:

I have a whirlpool WTW7500GC2 washer that suddenly started vibrating more than usual. I have taken the top off all the suspension springs are intact and do not look damaged. I have purchased them, and will replace them anyway. Is there anything else it could be
