Hi @mchwalowski ,

VSA denotes Vehicle Stability Assist.

To quote the owner manual:

VSA helps to stabilize the vehicle during cornering if the vehicle turns more or less than desired. It also assists you in maintaining traction while accelerating on loose or slippery road surfaces. It does this by regulating the engine’s output, and by selectively applying the brakes.

With the car parked and the engine running try pressing the VSA Off switch to see if you can make the light go off and come on again.

Here’s an image taken from the owner manual (p.183) showing the location of the VSA Off switch on the dashboard.

If operating / releasing the switch doesn’t help then you may have to take the car to a Honda dealer to get the VSA system checked out.

Is it something that has to be replaced immediately

If you're driving with the compact spare tyre on for any reason this may be why the VSA light is on. Press the VSA switch on the dashboard to turn off the VSA system until you get the regular tyre repaired

Depending on your location it might be advisable to get the VSA system checked out sooner rather than later.

If you live in the northern hemisphere with winter coming on, the VSA system improves traction and handling stability in wet or icy conditions therefore the vehicle is safer to drive in these conditions.

The car's braking system is not affected when there is a problem with the VSA it's just that the handling when having to use the brakes is not as good as when the VSA is working OK.
