Hey all
I just fully opened and cleaned my PS4.
After a few days I noticed that my power button keeps getting jammed in.
I can press it and it works but after that it gets jammed, I can pull it out and press it but it's very annoying and it's gonna lower the price of my system since I want to sell it and upgrade to PRO.
Did I maybe break the power button or something else?

While you bought it it could have been damaged while shipping or bribing it home. You might want to return it for a different one if the store has a policy

It's not new it's already several years old.
I wanted to know if maybe I somehow broke the power button while removing it from the motherboard or could it be that anything else.
I don't think you can return a PS4 that has been opened.
I'm guessing either the button on the power daughterboard is damaged or the power button which is removable needs to be realigned or replaced from the top cover.
oh then yea you probably got it jammed in there, and you might want to get placed in the correct position, or just replace the button itself

Were there any springs or other parts attached to the power button? If you did not attach a part between the power button and the motherboard during reassembly, that could be the problem.
