Plays but squeals on radio and CD player, it is a Bose Wave Radio/CD

Bose Wave Radio/CD player plays on either radio or CD but all at once it puts out this high pitched, ear piercing squeal, may stop and then starts the terrible noise again. Can it be repaired or is it a thrown away?

Hi robertagee246,

based on this website, i suspect the capacitor ESR could be rising ... thus it might be causing this interment issues.
