Does base station still charge the phone docked there ? If not maybe the power supply has failed and the base radio has no power. If power is okay there then the base radio itself must be the problem. Check power supply voltage with multimeter against specs on power supply.

I had power poles replacements happening yesterday now home phone is not working it says out of range on the hand sets.
