My panasonic TC-55CX400U wont turn on. When I press the power button on the TV, I see the red power light on but the screen would remain black. The lights are not blinking. Note that I can use the remote to turn on or off the red light. I tried few of the troubleshooting (removed it from wall socket, put back, pressed power button for 60 seconds etc) but nothing happened. What could be the problem ?

This has happened with mine too. I believe the LED backlight has failed. Apparently, if one or two LEDs stop working, the TV is programmed to turn them all off, possibly to avoid burning the rest of them out due to voltage imbalance.

Same with mine. How can I swap the LED backlights out? Where do I order them

There are quite a few YouTube tutorials showing how to replace LED strips. Not necessarily for this model, but they all seem to be fairly similar construction. Still not for the faint of heart, though. I haven’t plucked up the courage to do mine yet.
