Formally called the Chevrolet C/K, C/K is a series of trucks manufactured by General Motors and marketed under the Chevrolet and GMC brands. The C/K line includes pickup trucks, medium-duty, and heavy trucks.
Check the battery, check all connections, and check the alternator. If the battery is completely flat the alternator could be damaged by overdrawing on it as it tries to revive a dead battery. Battery life can be affected by many things but if it's over 3-4 years old definitely get it checked.
Try charging the battery; if it won't hold a charge replace it. If it does hold a charge (or you replace it with a fully charged battery) the truck should run; if it does run, make sure to also get the alternator checked. A lot of the Auto parts supply stores will check the function of both the alternator and battery for free.
