I presume it’s the same physical size and resolution. If the native resolution is different it’s unlikely to work.

The next issue is whether the LVDS data cable will fit. You may be able to get an idea if you can find disassembly guides or videos for the two models which include views of the screen disassembled. If not, it shouldn’t be hard to disassemble the screen and have a look to see whether the LCD panels have the same kind of connector(s) in the same place. Often there are screws in the corners of the bezel, probably hidden by rubber plugs, then it’s just a case of snapping the bezel off with a jimmy (see iFixit tools) and gently angling the LCD panel forward.
