Hi all:
I have a mid 2009 MacBook A1342. The case that holds the screen is starting to crack at the hinge point. Has anybody seen this problem and is there a repair solution?
If possible, I’d like to replace the part (I don’t even know what’s it called) vs. slapping some glue on it.

Eitehr way, yes it can be replaced. Post a couple of pictures of where your damage is and what it looks like. That way we can see what yuo see. Use this guide iFixitでの質問に画像を追加する方法 for that
