Screen not responding to mouse click

I can move the mouse around the screen but it won’t click on what I’m selecting. I’m receiving new emails, WhatsApp etc, but can’t go between the tabs to see them. Tried CAD but wouldn’t let me select option. Switched off with power button overnight but still the same this morning
