Bose 3-2-1 model AV321 CD/DVD Replacement

I need to replace the Toshiba SD-M1502 - 16x Internal DVD-ROM Drive (Ver. 2, ROM Ver. 1B24) in my Bose 3-2-1 system. Does anyone know if other Toshiba CD/DVD player model numbers will work and if so which ones?

If other model #s will not work, what about other Ver #s and ROM Ver #s of the SD-M1502 line?

What about other brands of DVD/ROMs? Any chance they would work? The Toshiba unit was manufactured in OCT 2001 CI.
