Assist option on my keyboard is missing

When holding down a word on my keyboard to highlight it. Cut, Copy,Paste, and More pops up (3 dots icon) . When I press the more icon Select all is the only option the assist option cannot be found anywhere on my keyboard. I need this option On my keyboard because it is a crucial step when by passing google account setup after Factory reset has been done. Being the new owner after purchasing the used phone this has been extremely frustrating,but now that I found a way around it the keyboard not having assist option is the only thing that is keeping me locked out of my new phone. SOMEONE PLZZZ HELP.
