I have a Dell latitude 3540 and when I press the power button, it turns on and has 2 lights that turn on one being the hard drive and that light turns off and when it does that it beeps once and keeps going and the fan spins, and I don’t know what to do now and the fan sounds like a airplane taking off...

BIOS ROM checksum in progress or failure
System board failure, covers BIOS corruption or ROM error
Unplug your computer, remove the AC adapter, remove the battery and remove the memory modules. Then hold the power button down for about 30sec-1min. Plug the AC adapter in and one memory module. Then try to restart your computer. See if that makes a change.
