Doesn’t start , heats on the left side

It doesn’t start at all only black screen .Fan doesn’t turn on after clicking the power button neither does the keyboard or mouse. I have checked and the charger works so that’s not a problem. Charging indicator does not light up. Only power button lights up after clicking.
