All Sensors Not Working After Oreo Update?

Since updating to Android 8.0 (Oreo) All the Sensors Not Working, I Know the sensors not working from test *#0*# and Test Hardware by Samsung Members, I got some Information problem from Samsung Members Hardware Test Result;

- Accelerometer

- Barometer

- Light Sensor

- Gyroscope

- Magnetic Sensor

and I think Proximity not working too cos if i making or receive call phone display won't turn off or black screen.

Trying to factory reset, Wipe Data & Cache nothing change, and i got Error like this;

#fail to open recovery_cause(No such file or directory)#

  1. Reboot Recovery Cause is [UNKNOWN]#

  1. MANUAL MODE V1.0.0#

Successfully verified dmverify hash tree

E:Failed to clear BCB message: failed to find misc partition

This happened after Updating OTA to android 8.0, I Have tried to Flash Manualy, and Downgrade to Nougat, but problem still note fixed, Someone may know how?

Notes:

- Before updating nothing else, all working perfectly, Proximity, Gyro, etc.

- Sometimes IRIS Sensor crash.

its happen to me..after update to oreo all the sensor is not working...already try to hard reset,safe mode clear data and chace but not nothing can solve..hi dear samsung please roll downgrade to nouget again....please.

Me too, just got the bug yesterday. Previous days all worked just fine. But now, not even the iris scanner can work. Please samsung release a patch for this

Same here, after the update nothing works, even the GPS cuts out after a couple of seconds. I've done the Cache clear and a Factory Reset, still nothing. First thing on Monday I'm taking it back to orange. I'm from Romania.

I am facing similar issue with NOtE 8 all sensors stopped working. I just had updates, really don't know because of software or any hardware issue. I am from Pakistan. phone is under warranty. please suggest

This issues has been fixed by Samsung Service Center, today i send my phone to SSC and their said it's 100% Hardware fault, cos my phone still warranty Samsung has replace my Board with new one and fixed the problem and no charge, it's free. hope this can solve you too.

yes, Customer Service told me all will Working Like new including water proof

For this case on my devices yes, 100% hardware fault.

Did they have any policy for replacement with new?

Same problem for me bought my done in Australia 10 maths ago still has long warranty I am in Europe now they say it's not covered here what sort of Nicky mouse company is Samsung has anybody had any results

That's a software issue not all the phones on exynos will crash if it was a hardware issue

After Gear Vr attempt, all sensors came back to life! But stopped again after one week.

Now they are not working, in the sensors test page using the code they are not working, gyro and acelerometer, but in the Gear Vr they work...

software problem!!!

Samsung please search the problem in the code for us, im already looking for iphones, but I like the s8+ if it works...

Does samsung care about sensors not working it's their problem so fix it we have 15 phones in the company no more samsung for use

Its a software problem because it only happens to the exynos version none of the snapdragon versions got this issue and samsung knows this

I purchased mine in Honduras, have no warranty, product is official, sensors are frozen, and we dont have a Service Center here, so there go $700 down the drain, have had this problem since update. I guess I’ll switch companies, after having all Galaxies ever made, stopped purchasing after Note 8 because of this. All they comment in the community is different region, no resolution.

How do I fix it if I brought the $@$* phone second hand and no warranty. I think I should have stuck with Apple iPhone never had a problem with their phones and I have been using them for over 4 years. Don't listen to everyone that's says samsung galaxy s8 are better because they &&^&^$^ suck arse
