My Kenmore laundry center will not fill at the start of the cycle. I can hear a hum. It will fill if the knob is moved to rinse. Any ideas?

What water temperature are you filling with? Warm/cold, Warm/warm, Cold/Cold? Does the problem happen in all temperature settings or just some? What is your model number?
