my mouse can click and scroll the lights on it work but the pointer wont move I've already looked on the internet and have uninstalled the driver and reinstalled also have moved and tried it on different computers so the problem has to be with them mouse anyone know how to fix it ?

HI:
You may not be able to see your laser but my mouse gets dusty and dirty in the opening for the laser, I carefully use a q tip and some rubbing alcohol then turn the q over and dry it.
I bet you have this problem, could be your friend put in something to goof you.

Hi @barfthechicken ,
Assuming you are using it in the wireless mode, have you tried it in the "wired' mode to see if it works?
I don't know the mouse but is the laser light on the bottom of the mouse working (as with all optical mouse types)?
