Dropped laptop. Screen wont come on.
I dropped my laptop and the lcd will not come on anymore. The backlight for the keyboard is still on and so is the power light. It wont connect to a external lcd. Need some help. Thanks!

@e_ah when you say " wont connect to a external lcd" you mean it does not show anything other than a black screen. If so you are having issues with your GPU on the motherboard. You'd have to disassemble your computer to take a look for obvious damage. Make sure that you connected the external monitor properly.

it will not connect. By that I mean it doesn't display anything. I already have and I see no obvious damage.
@e_ah see if you can get us all the numbers of your motherboard. We can try and find a schematic with which you could possibly test some of the components. Your external monitor is of course properly connected .....
it is properly connected lol. and I do not see any numbers on the mobo.
