I have the 8gb version and after about a year and a half of using it the battery will Not take a charge. I put it to charge on an iphone charger, two computers and 2 different cables. Also when i plug it into my apple dock it gives me a 'empty battery' logo and does not charge, but will turn on when plugged in. All help will be appreciated

Try cleaning out the dock connector with a toothbrush, and clearing any debris that may be messing up the connection. If that doesn't work, you may need to replace the battery.
