Apps Especially Games Keep Crashing

I purchased a used Blu Advanced5.5 HD. It wasn't available on the list of devices so I picked the closest model. My email, chat, and music apps all work without crashing when I open them. Games constantly crash and also cause my music app and chat apps to shut down the moment I open them. I won't receive notifications for any of my chat apps or emails after I play a game until I open the chat or email app after closing the game. I added an SD card to increase the phone's memory and did a factory data reset. Nothing has helped. If anyone has any suggestions, they'd be appreciated.
