Fonts look blurry when changing screen resolution

I recently got an Asus VivoBook S laptop, it has a 15.6 display. It was shipped with a screen resolution of 1920x1080, but the fonts look so small that I changed the resolution to 1366x768 (I took this resolution from another Asus laptop I have, also 15.6 display). Problem is that when I change the resolution, fonts look blurry in Windows Explorer, Word, Excel and any Internet browser. Is this fixable?

LCD panels like to run at their native resolution, they usually look like crap if you run them at different resolutions. I would recommend running the laptop at 1920x1080. If the fonts are very small you should bump up the DPI.

Assuming Windows 10

Right click on an empty space on the desktop. Click on "Display Settings"

In the main window that pops up there is a slider bar labeled. "Change the size of text, apps, and other items: 100% (Recommended)"

It may have a different number, but it will probably be 100%.

Try adjusting the slider to 125% or 150% and see if that works better for you.

You will need to log out and back in after making this change as not everything will change until you re-log.

Good luck.

For 1980×1080 FHD I'll recommend to adjust the font scale to 144% (140% - 145%). You will get the same aspect as 1366×768 screen resolution.
