Why is my lens shuttering/repeating?

So I don't know what's up with my camera but it's really getting annoying.

@kingrei looks like your lens assembly is failing. I start of by replacing it. Use these guides to help you with that. the Coolpix model S210/220 will definitely get you there. If unsure of anything, post some images of where you are having trouble, with your question. For that use this guide
