My screen is all black but it still works?
my phone is still working but the screen wont show anything

So there are 3 possibilities
1) Either the cable is loose or damaged from the LCD to the logic board.
2) The LCD itself is damaged
3) The Logic board is damaged
For further diagnosis you would need to either open up the phone your self or take it to a repair specialist.
