How to fix "wavy" lcd surface? (and it has rainbow-ish effect)
i bought a *very* cheap camera (Camedia C-2 zoom (D-520/C-220), comes with smartmedia card which is expensive by its own, exceeding the camera's own worth, however the camera itself has a weird lcd issue, the seller said that it happened because of "eucalyptus oil", i know that this would trigger some people and said "its irreversible, change the lcd" i would do that if the parts are still available which isnt
now i have done some basic tricks like using toothpaste, rubbing alcohol etc
however i'm wondering if any of those scratch removing pen works
or maybe giving an almost impossible task of evening the top layer using nail polish to lower the effect
or another almost impossible task of "removing" the lcd top layer using heat gun or hairdryer and just cover it up with a standard screen protector
i havent tried it and im afraid of the "if i mess up i cant undo what i just did" scenario, has anyone have past experience with this and managed to deal with it without changing parts ?
