Are these batteries interchangeable
im try'n to fix my friends ipod. it's a A1099. i have a A1136 for parts. My question is are the battery's inter-changeable. they're both 60 GB.

No. They are not interchangeable. The A1099 is a 4th generation and I believe it is the Photo with color display. The A1136 is a fifth generation iPod Video. Different batteries different layout. Won't fit.
