Have you tried a wired connection into your router? Also do you see any wifi networks? — Cameron

Windows 7 and later sometime have this issue. Go to network settings and check security settings for network you are connecting to. Set it home or work or public as appropriate. Then turn off WiFi and router (if home) and turn on.
