How to fix screen issues after screen replacement?

Hello, earlier today I put a new screen on my iPhone 5c to replace a cracked one that caused a similar problem that i am experiencing now. After i finished, i noticed that the colors were kind of dimmed and the left side is black (see picture). Any advice on how to fix this? I also noticed that the screen was a little lifted from the surrounding casing on the phone. Could it be a bad battery? The screen is still responsive. Picture

Hi, the picture that you provided would indicate damage to the LCD. The solution to this problem is it carefully install a new screen assembly. This will solve the black part and any funny colors. As far as the battery, does it appear to have any wear marks on the battery from swelling and touching the LCD metal bracket? This would indicate that you need a new battery. If you have a voltage tester, you can remover the battery connection and test the battery for proper voltage.

TL:DR - Replacement screen was either improperly installed or the internal LCD came damaged like that.

OP could you post a screenshot of the inside of the phone particularly at the battery? Sometimes this causes the screen to be pushed up like Nick said.

So should I buy a new LCD Digitzer ? And I will post a picture of the internals when I get home.

Yeah, the one installed right now is physically damaged and needs replacing to fix.

I am thinking about just having it professionally repaired

It is probably faulty screen. Aftermarket screens for 5c are notoriously bad. I tried a 2 from ebay and 1 from Amazon with the same result. Finally bought one from iFixit and to date (5 months later) no issues.
