It seems to have bricked itself

I hadn't used my tablet for a couple months because I had misplaced the charger. Now after using several different chargers and buying a and installing a new battery, it still just won't turn on. Any suggestions? I'm brave enough to open it up and mess around, but don't have a plan for a first step.
