I am not able to change out lenses. The Nikon lens that is currently on the camera will not release. Or the camera will not release the lens. I'm not sure if it's the lens or the camera that is the problem.
Can anyone give me some advice!

it seems this is a pretty common problem with this series, you might need to send it in.

try reseating it like you were going to try and put the lens on and twist it into the lock position and then try and unlock it. it might be stuck but if that doesn't work you might need to send it in :(

Hi, I had this problem one day with my 50mm 1.4 af-s. It came from a screw in the back of the lens that was unscrewed. I forced ... I had no choice but it is a very big risk. good luck
