Remote stopped working on tv

Hi

So my remote stopped working. Tried new batteries obvs, tried the camera check and I can see the ir working. So I've taken the tv apart after looking online for a fix. I've got the ir board V28A001326A1 out. Trying to buy a replacement but had no joy. Does anyone know where an which ir sensor is fitted to this board, and where I could get one? I can solder so that's not a problem.

Seems to be no dry joints on it. Or any other checks I can do etc.

Hi @shembo ,

This link may be of some help. Unfortunately you will have to wait till the end of the week to contact the seller to find out if the complete sensor board is still available and how much it costs.

Try these steps

Make sure your components are turned on and yourTV is set to display the appropriate video source.

You must put the remote in the correct mode bypressing the corresponding component key (TV,DVD, VCR, AUX, SAT·CBL) so the remote knowswhich component you want to operate.

Remove any obstacles between the remote and thecomponent. Make sure to aim the remote at the IRsensor on the component.

Make sure the batteries are fresh and are properlyinstalled. Replace the batteries with two new AAAbatteries, if necessary. Reprogramming may berequired.

Reset the remote, find more details here . If the indicatorlight lights up, reprogram the remote and try again.If it doesn’t light up, replace the batteries with newones
