Okay, here is the problem i am having,i changed the home button because it was responding, and after changing,it still didn’t respond,so i changed the dock connector thinking thats the problem,still no response from the home button. i then changed screens from a working iphone,and put it on the other phone, and still the home button is not working. i don't know what else to do are there any suggestions.

okey dokey. been thinking, have no idea what problem could be if dock and home have been replaced-leaves motherboard problem or connector 4 pins.
solution? best I can think of is an app that replaces the home button... it's on cydia I think. I'm not into the whole jailbreak thing so you'll have to google it.
