Red & Green Horzontal lines on display

The lines show up reddish on a dark background and greenish on a light background. I found another link with the same problem but no solution.

If the lines appear on the external monitor then the problem comes from the graphic card soldered to the logic board. The only way to repair is to replace the logic board or reflow the GPU.
