1 Nvidia shield will not power on? No green light or anything :(
I powered my Nvidia Shield off at night and tried to turn it back on in the morning and I cant even get the green light on. :( I got a replacement power cord but still no luck :(

The issue is with the cheap capacitors installed in the 2017 model. The capacitors overheat and then crack, the component costs about 50p to replace, but Nvidia don't want to know!. You would need to take your Shield to a professional repair centre. It can be fixed!

mi nvidia shield pro 500gb de 2015 se enciende luz verde pero no detecta el hdmi no se que hacer ya que no veo imagen ninguna para poder seguir los pasos de reparacion alguien me puede ayudar a reparar de alguna manera mi nvidia para poder recibir imajen el la tv y poder restaurarla?

hola buenas, mi nvidia shield tv de 500gb si se enciende la luz verde pero no recibo señal en la tv e probado con otros cables y tv y sigue igual no se. alguien me podria ayudar a repararla para recibir ijagen en el hdmi y poder restaurarla, e probado todos los metodos y no e podido si alguien me puede echar un cable se lo agradeceria un saludo y gracias
I have same problem, I've tried a hardware reset, but nothing happens. only get the green light, but there's no response from the board it seems.
Um,I don't have the exact issue but the thing is I was playing on a game right,After I was trying to get something next to it I knocked it off and my dumbass took off the power supply(I had no intention to do it so um I wasn't thinking straight)and now it can't turn on,There's no green light.Any idea how I should fix this???

I have the same problem and its 4 months out of warranty. Thinking that's why they came out with a 2017 model that the same insides. There's a problem they know about it and fixed it on the new ones. ( i hope) and everyone with the old ones too bad. Now since its a old product they don't have to do recalls.

I have same problem with nvidia shield Pro I get greenlight but will not stay on when connecting power cord or touching the power on off on top of shield with remote it does the same green light will not stay

You said you have a new power cord....
how about the power supply? is it internal? or are you referring the power cord as the power supply?
