Why is my computer not registering anything I type on my keyboard?
Typing anything on my keyboard has no effect. Nothing I type appears in the text fields that I attempt to type in.

It is possible there is a problem with your keyboard in general. It seems like it is malfunctioning. If this is the case you may need to buy a new keyboard. If you would like to replace the keyboard, I recommend following this guide: Keyboard Replacement Guide
