Blue Screen when trying hard reset and general use

So my iPhone 5s got dropped by a friend the other day and its all of a sudden started blue screening for no reason in all sorts of occasions it doesn't happen when one thing it does just seems at random but it does it every time i try to do a hard reset by holding down the home an sleep button.

I've reset the phone an it still has the problem, is this a hardware issue does anyone know what it might be or what i might need to replace?

The blue screen (BSOD) is usually caused by the screws holding the screen assembly bracket being replaced incorrectly. The screws are tiny and of different lengths, often by just a few tenths of a millimeter. If you put a longer one where it's not supposed to go, then you damage the delicate copper traces on the logic board.

In your case, it doesn't sound like the device has been opened or repaired. However, the "standoffs" that secure the screws to the logic board could have been jarred off the logic board and damaged it. There are also other causes to BSOD, such as a defective Tristar IC (U2), which can also be damaged after a hard impact.

You may find some ideas about software issues to verify but I suspect you will need to have this phone looked at by a repair shop that can do micro-soldering repairs.
