Do I need to download the SoundStage app to use the speaker?

I don't have enough storage on my phone to download an entire app for the speaker. Is it imperative that I have the app to control the speaker and play music?

Hi Danielle,

You will need the app if you want to setup your S1 Mini to work with WiFi. The app mainly allows you to stream music from online services (Like Spotify) straight to the S1 Mini.

If you plan on connecting your phone to the S1 Mini via Bluetooth or Auxiliary cable, you do not need the app. You can connect normally and play your music (Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, etc)
