laptop wont power on-charger ok.. battery ok aswell

I had aproblem with my packard bell easynote laptop.first the laptop was working fine before it showed a black screen with laptop is on.i tried on of the tricks (blanket trick) wich i coverd the laptop totaley and the laptop became very hot and totaly switched off.now the laptop not working the ac adaptor is ok the charger is ok aswell only when i press the power button i see power led light for few seconds before goes off.hard desk and fan not working.please i need help
