Reverend, Galaxy S6, you can use one of the following methods to restart, make sure phone has been charged.

Press and hold power button for a few seconds, then follow the on-screen instructions.

Press and hold power button until the phone restarts.

Press and hold the Power button and the Volume buttons simultaneously for more than 10 seconds, if the phone is not responding.
