1 Why is the sound skipping on my speakers?

I've had my SRS-X55 for about four months now and it's been working like a dream. But in the last few weeks, when it's connected to my Macbook via Bluetooth, I've been having a problem where the sound skips/cuts out for a second about once every four to five seconds.
The sound is fine when I connect the speakers to my phone and the problem doesn't seem to be associated with just one program either.
I've tried unpairing and reconnecting, as well as a soft reset of my speaker. Is there anything else I can do?

Hi, Just wondering if you could try connecting your Macbook to another BT speaker and see if it happens as well, to prove if the problem is with the computer or not as you say that it is alright when you pair the speaker with a phone.
Is there any difference regarding location or distance etc of speaker/Macbook than from before when it worked OK? Just wondering whether the Macbook or its' power adapter etc is causing interference to the BT signal. When you try the speaker/phone setup is it in the same location as the Macbook /speaker setup?
